We added Singapore to our list of destinations because Jaims had nannied for a family in France that now lives in Singapore. And hey when you travel around the world Thailand and Singapore seem really close so we couldn't pass up on the opportunity to visit them. So Singapore is really....smart? clean? orderly? yeah.
Because we where there to be with our friends we mostly had a blast just hanging out with them. They introduced us to proper karaoke which I am still scared of participating in. I feel confident singing in front of people but when it is karaoke I never know if I should be serious or silly and then it just comes out as really awkward. Oh well. We ate
amazing food,
oh banana leaf... and had a lot of fun playing at the pool and ensuring that we were following every rule we knew of. Did you know it used to be illegal to chew gum in public?! As a non gum chewer I would actually support that rule- but they got rid of it a while ago now. So chew away you nice Singaporeans.

ps did you know that Japan has superior toilets? not just nice but amazing!!!! why are we buying Japanese made cars when really we should be buying their toilets.
